सैनापत्येन सत्कर्तु कर्ण स्कन्दमिवामरा: । ततो5भिषिषिचु: कर्ण विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा

Transliteration

senāpatyena satkartuṁ karṇa skandam ivāmarāḥ | tato 'bhiṣiṣicuḥ karṇaṁ vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||

Translation

संजय म्हणाला—सेनापतीपद देऊन कर्णाचा सत्कार करावा, जसा देवांनी स्कंदाचा केला होता, या इच्छेने त्यांनी विधिशास्त्रानुसार कर्णाचा अभिषेक केला.
