Droṇānīka-praveśa: Arjuna’s respectful appeal to Droṇa and renewed advance toward Jayadratha (द्रोणानीकप्रवेशः)
विप्रेषु ददतश्चैव श्रद्धा भवतु नित्यश: । अनन्यासु सवर्णासु पुत्रजन्म च मे भवेत्
vipreṣu dadataś caiva śraddhā bhavatu nityaśaḥ | ananyāsu savarṇāsu putrajanma ca me bhavet |
नारद म्हणाला—ब्राह्मणांना दान देताना माझी श्रद्धा नित्य नित्य स्थिर राहो. आणि माझ्याच वर्णातील, पतिव्रता व एकनिष्ठ पत्नींपासूनच मला पुत्रजन्म लाभो.
