संजय उवाच
Even when righteous strength seems momentarily obscured by overwhelming opposition (the Gāṇḍīva’s sound being drowned), steadfast leadership and divine-aligned resolve reassert moral clarity—symbolized by Kṛṣṇa’s Pāñcajanya, which restores confidence and direction amid confusion.
Kaurava forces roar and press toward Arjuna’s chariot, creating such tumult that the famed sound of Arjuna’s bow is lost. In response, Kṛṣṇa blows the conch Pāñcajanya with a far-reaching blast, while the warriors assigned to protect Jayadratha remain engaged in the fighting.
