Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ideal of disciplined, duty-bound valor in a dharma-yuddha: Arjuna advances effectively under Kṛṣṇa’s guidance, suggesting that righteous action gains clarity and force when aligned with wise counsel and higher purpose.

At this moment in the battle, Arjuna—driving with Kṛṣṇa as his charioteer—reaches the spot where Bhīma and his son Ghaṭotkaca are fighting Bhagādattā, arriving while cutting down foes on all sides.
