sañjaya uvāca | gomatīṃ dhūtapāpāṃ ca vandanāṃ ca mahānadīm | kauśikīṃ tridivāṃ kṛtyāṃ nicitāṃ lohitāraṇīm |

संजय म्हणाला—मग त्यांनी गोमती, धूतपापा, वन्दना व महानदी; कौशिकी, त्रिदिवा, कृत्या, निचिता आणि लोहितारणी या पवित्र नद्यांचे स्मरण केले.
