त्यानंतर शान्तनुनंदन भीष्म सहसा पुढे सरसावून रणभूमीत अर्जुनासमोर येऊन ठेपले; आणि भरतवंशी भीष्म येताना पाहून महाबली अर्जुनही त्यांना सामोरा जाण्यास पुढे झाला.
संजय उवाच
