Adhyāya 70: Sātyaki’s Arrow-Display and the Bhūriśravas Engagement; Twilight Withdrawal
एष लोकान् ससर्जादौ देवांश्न ऋषिभि: सह । निधन चैव मृत्युं च प्रजानां प्रभवाप्ययौ,इन्होंने ही सर्गके आरम्भमें सम्पूर्ण लोकों तथा ऋषियोंसहित देवताओंकी रचना की थी। ये ही प्रलयके अधिष्ठान और मृत्युस्वरूप हैं। प्रजाकी उत्पत्ति और विनाश इन्हींसे होते हैं
eṣa lokān sasarjādau devāṁś ca ṛṣibhiḥ saha | nidhanaṁ caiva mṛtyuṁ ca prajānāṁ prabhavāpyayau ||
सृष्टीच्या आरंभी यांनीच सर्व लोक, देव आणि ऋषी यांची निर्मिती केली. हेच प्रलयाचे अधिष्ठान व मृत्युस्वरूप आहेत; प्रजांची उत्पत्ती व लय यांच्याच पासून होतात.
