ननाद बलवतन्नादं भगदत्त: प्रतापवान् | उन सब महारथियोंको भयभीत और भीमसेनको मूर्च्छित हुआ देख प्रतापी भगदत्तने बड़े जोरसे सिंहनाद किया ।। ५३ है ।। ततो घटोत्कचो राजन प्रेक्ष्य भीम॑ तथागतम्
nanāda balavattan nādaṃ bhagadattaḥ pratāpavān | tato ghaṭotkaco rājan prekṣya bhīmaṃ tathāgatam ||
संजय म्हणाला—प्रतापवान भगदत्ताने त्या महारथींना भयभीत आणि भीमसेनाला मूर्च्छित पाहून मोठ्या जोरात सिंहनाद केला. मग, हे राजन्, भीमला त्या अवस्थेत पाहून घटोत्कच आपल्या बंधूच्या संकटाकडे लक्ष देत रणांगणात प्रत्युत्तर देण्यासाठी पुढे सरसावला।
