एवमेते महाराज प्रह्ृष्टा: कुरुपाण्डवा: । पुनर्युद्धाय संजग्मुस्तापयाना: परस्परम्,महाराज! इस प्रकार ये हर्षमें भरे हुए कौरव-पाण्डव एक-दूसरेको संताप देते हुए पुनः युद्धके लिये रणक्षेत्रमें जा पहुँचे
evam ete mahārāja prahṛṣṭāḥ kuru-pāṇḍavāḥ | punar yuddhāya saṃjagmus tāpayānāḥ parasparam ||
संजय म्हणाला— महाराज! अशा रीतीने हर्षाने भरलेले कौरव आणि पांडव, एकमेकांना संताप देत, पुन्हा युद्धासाठी रणभूमीकडे गेले।
