ततोअन्यद्‌ धनुरादाय भीष्म: शान्तनवो युधि

tato 'nyad dhanur ādāya bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavo yudhi

मग रणात शान्तनुपुत्र भीष्मांनी दुसरे धनुष्य उचलले आणि क्षत्रियधर्माच्या कठोर मागण्यांतही अढळ निर्धाराने युद्ध पुढे चालू ठेवले।
