पराक्रान्तस्य तस्यैव भीष्मो5पि प्राहिणोच्छरान् | सतांश्रिच्छेद समरे भीष्मचापच्युतान् शरान्,तब भीष्मने भी उस पराक्रमी वीरपर बाणोंका प्रहार किया; परंतु अभिमन्युने रणभूमिमें भीष्मके धनुषसे छूटे हुए समस्त बाणोंको काट डाला
parākrāntasya tasyaiva bhīṣmo 'pi prāhiṇoc charān | satāṁśriccheda samare bhīṣmacāpacyutān śarān |
मग त्या पराक्रमी वीरावर भीष्मानेही बाण सोडले; पण रणांगणात अभिमन्यूने भीष्माच्या धनुषातून सुटलेले सर्व शर छेदून टाकले।
