श्रुतं मे कर्ण भीष्मस्य द्वेषात्‌ किल न योत्स्यसे । अस्मान्‌ वरय राधेय यावद्‌ भीष्मो न हन्यते

śrutaṃ me karṇa bhīṣmasya dveṣāt kila na yotsyase | asmān varaya rādheya yāvad bhīṣmo na hanyate ||

संजय म्हणाला—कर्णा! भीष्माविषयी द्वेषामुळे तू युद्ध करणार नाहीस, असे मी ऐकले आहे. राधेया! भीष्म पडेतोवर तरी आमचा पक्ष स्वीकार.
