ब्रवीम्येतत् क्लीबवत् त्वां युद्धादन्यत् किमिच्छसि । योत्स्ये5हं कौरवस्यार्थ तवाशास्यो जयो मया
bravīmy etat klībavat tvāṁ yuddhād anyat kim icchasi | yotsye 'haṁ kauravasyārthe tavāśāsyo jayo mayā ||
द्रोण म्हणाले—म्हणूनच आज मी जणू नपुंसकासारखा तुला विचारतो: युद्धाव्यतिरिक्त तुला आणखी काय हवे? मी कौरवांच्या हितासाठी युद्ध करीन; पण माझी इच्छा तुझ्याच विजयाची आहे.
