arjuna uvāca — sarvadvāreṣu dehe 'smin prakāśa upajāyate | jñānaṁ yadā tadā vidyād vivṛddhaṁ sattvam ity uta ||
जेव्हा या देहात—म्हणजे अंतःकरण व इंद्रियांच्या सर्व द्वारांत—प्रकाश उत्पन्न होतो आणि ज्ञान प्रकट होते, तेव्हा जाणावे की सत्त्वगुण वाढला आहे.
