ततस्तमेकं बहव: परिवार्य समन्तत: । परिकाल्य कुरून् सर्वान् शरवर्षरवाकिरन्
tatas tam ekaṁ bahavaḥ parivārya samantataḥ | parikālya kurūn sarvān śaravarṣa-ravākiran ||
त्यानंतर अनेक योद्ध्यांनी त्या एकाकी वीराला सर्व बाजूंनी वेढले. सर्व कौरवांना सर्व दिशांनी हुसकावून लावून त्यांनी त्याच्यावर गर्जनासारखी बाणांची वर्षा सुरू केली.
