इत्यासीत् तुमुल: शब्द: फाल्गुनस्य रथं प्रति । अर्जुनके रथके समीप “मार डालो, ले आओ, पकड़ लो, बींध डालो, टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दो” इस प्रकार भयंकर शब्द गूँजने लगा
ityāsīt tumulaḥ śabdaḥ phālgunasya rathaṃ prati |
संजय म्हणाला—अशा रीतीने फाल्गुनाच्या रथाकडे प्रचंड कोलाहल उठला. अर्जुनाच्या रथाजवळ “मारून टाका, घेऊन या, पकडा, भेदून टाका, तुकडे-तुकडे करा”—असा भयानक गजर घुमू लागला.
