ततः किरीटी संरब्धो भीष्ममेवाभ्यधावत
tataḥ kirīṭī saṃrabdho bhīṣmam evābhyadhāvat | atāḍayan raṇe bhīṣmaṃ sahitāḥ sarvasṛñjayāḥ ||
संजय म्हणाला—तेव्हा किरीटी अर्जुन रोष व निर्धाराने पेटून थेट भीष्माकडे धावला. आणि समस्त सृंजय वीर एकत्र होऊन रणभूमीवर सर्व बाजूंनी भीष्मावर प्रहार करू लागले, त्यांना सतत छळून दबावाखाली ठेवण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत. या प्रसंगातून क्षत्रियधर्माची कठोरता दिसते—अजेय पितामहाला रोखण्यासाठी संघटित बळ उभे राहते, आणि आदर व कर्तव्य यांचा संघर्ष शस्त्रांच्या गजरात दडून राहतो.
