तस्य शर्ति रणे कार्ष्ण्मित्योर्घोरां स्वसामिव । प्रेषयामास संक्रुद्धों दुर्योधनरथं प्रति,तदनन्तर क्रोधमें भरे हुए अभिमन्युने रणक्षेत्रमें दुर्योधनके रथपर एक भयंकर शक्ति चलायी, जो मृत्युकी बहिन-सी प्रतीत होती थी
tasya śaktiṁ raṇe kārṣṇir mṛtyor ghorāṁ svasāṁ iva | preṣayāmāsa saṅkruddho duryodhana-rathaṁ prati ||
संजय म्हणाला—तेव्हा रणांगणात क्रोधाने भरलेला द्रौपदीपुत्र अभिमन्यूने दुर्योधनाच्या रथाकडे एक अत्यंत घोर अशी शक्ती फेकली; ती जणू मृत्यूचीच बहीण भासावी अशी भयावह होती।
