प्रहरास्मिन् नरव्याप्र न चेन्मोहाद् विमुहा[से । 'पार्थ! तुम्हें जिस अवसरकी अभिलाषा और प्रतीक्षा थी, वह आ पहुँचा। पुरुषसिंह! यदि तुम मोहसे मोहित नहीं हो रहे हो तो इन भीष्मपर प्रहार करो
sañjaya uvāca | prahārāsmin nara-vyāghra na cen mohād vimūhyase | pārtha! tubhyaṁ yasya avasarasya abhilāṣā ca pratīkṣā ca āsīt sa āgataḥ | puruṣa-siṁha! yadi tvaṁ mohena na mohyase tarhi etān bhīṣmaṁ prati praharā ||
“नरव्याघ्रा! आता प्रहार कर—जर तू मोहाने विमूढ होत नसशील. पार्था! ज्याची तू इच्छा व प्रतीक्षा करीत होतास तो क्षण आला आहे. पुरुषसिंहा! जर तू संभ्रमात नसेल तर भीष्मावर आघात कर।”
