Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
धर्ममेव गुरु ज्ञात्वा तृष्णा न गणिता त्वया । “जब मनुष्यमें दानविषयक रुचि जाग्रत् होती है
dharmam eva guruṁ jñātvā tṛṣṇā na gaṇitā tvayā |
धर्मालाच गुरु मानून तू तृष्णेलाही काहीच लेखले नाहीस. जेव्हा मनुष्यात दानाची रुची जागते, तेव्हा त्याचा धर्म क्षीण होत नाही. पत्नीचे प्रेम आणि पुत्राचा स्नेह यांकडेही न पाहता तू धर्मालाच श्रेष्ठ मानलेस आणि त्यासाठी भूक-प्यासही तुच्छ मानलीस.
