Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
यदा दानरुचि: स्याद् वै तदा धर्मो न सीदति । अनवेक्ष्य सुतस्नेहं कलत्रस्नेहमेव च
yadā dānaruciḥ syād vai tadā dharmo na sīdati | anavekṣya sutasnehaṃ kalatrasnehameva ca ||
जेव्हा दानाची रुची उत्पन्न होते, तेव्हा धर्म ढळत नाही. पुत्रस्नेह व पत्नी-स्नेह यांकडेही न पाहता—म्हणजे आसक्ती न धरता—दान करावे.
