इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आश्वमेधिकपर्वके अन्तर्गत अनुगीतापर्वर्ें अश्वमेधकी समाप्तिविषयक नवासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,सर्वमेतद्धि यस्मात् ते दत्त शुद्धेन चेतसा
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate āśvamedhika-parvaṇi antargate anugītā-parvaṇi aśvamedhikā-samāpti-viṣayakaḥ navāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ | sarvam etad dhi yasmāt te dattaṃ śuddhena cetasā |
अशा प्रकारे श्रीमहाभारताच्या आश्वमेधिकपर्वातील अनुगीतापर्वात अश्वमेध-समाप्तिविषयक नव्याऐंशीवा अध्याय समाप्त झाला. हे सर्व तुम्हांस शुद्ध व निर्मळ चित्ताने दिले गेले म्हणूनच हे उपदेश प्रदान झाले.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
