Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
अद्रोह: सर्वभूतेषु संतोष: शीलमार्जवम् | तपो दमश्न सत्यं च प्रदानं चेति सम्मितम्
adrohaḥ sarvabhūteṣu santoṣaḥ śīlam ārjavam | tapo damaś ca satyaṃ ca pradānaṃ ceti sammitam |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—सर्व प्राण्यांप्रती अद्रोह, संतोष, शील-सदाचार व सरळपणा, तप, दम (मन-इंद्रियसंयम), सत्य आणि न्यायाने मिळविलेल्या वस्तूचे श्रद्धेने दान—या प्रत्येक गुणाला महायज्ञाइतकेच पुण्य मानले जाते.
