अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

उपाजिघ्रद् यथाशास्त्र सर्वपापापहं तदा । भाइयोंसहित धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरने शास्त्रकी आज्ञाके अनुसार उस चर्बीके धूमकी गन्ध सूँघी
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
upājighrad yathāśāstraṃ sarvapāpāpahaṃ tadā |
dīyatāṃ bhujyatāṃ ceṣṭaṃ divārātram avāritam |
taṃ mahotsava-saṅkāśaṃ hṛṣṭa-puṣṭa-janākulam |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— मग धर्मराज युधिष्ठिराने भावांसह शास्त्रविधीनुसार त्या धुराचा सुगंध घेतला, जो सर्व पापांचा नाश करणारा मानला जातो. आणि आज्ञा झाली— “दान द्यावे, इच्छित अन्न सेवन करावे; दिवस-रात्र कोणतीही अडथळा नको.” तो देखावा महोत्सवासारखा, हर्षित व तृप्त जनसमुदायाने भरलेला होता.
