अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship
Book 14, Chapter 89
श्वशुरात् प्रीतिदायं त॑ं प्राप्प सा प्रीतमानसा । चकार पुण्यकं तेन सुमहत् संघश: पृथा,श्वशुरकी ओरसे प्रेमपूर्वक मिले हुए उस धनको पाकर कुन्तीदेवी मन-ही-मन बहुत प्रसन्न हुई और उसके द्वारा उन्होंने बड़े-बड़े सामूहिक पुण्य-कार्य किये
śvaśurāt prītidāyaṃ taṃ prāpya sā prītamānasā | cakāra puṇyakaṃ tena sumahat saṅghaśaḥ pṛthā ||
श्वशुरांकडून प्रेमाने मिळालेला तो धनभाग प्राप्त होताच कुंती (पृथा) अंतर्मनाने अत्यंत प्रसन्न झाली. त्या धनाने तिने मोठमोठी सामूहिक पुण्यकर्मे केली.
