आकुमारं तदा राजन्नागमत् तत्पुरं विभो । द्रष्टकामं कुरुश्रेष्ठ प्रयास्यन्तं धनंजयम्
ā-kumāraṁ tadā rājann āgamat tat-puraṁ vibho | draṣṭu-kāmaṁ kuru-śreṣṭhaṁ prayāsyantaṁ dhanañjayam, janamejaya! prabho! |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—हे राजन्, हे विभो! त्या वेळी प्रवासास निघालेल्या कुरुश्रेष्ठ धनंजयाला पाहण्याच्या इच्छेने, बालकांपासून वृद्धांपर्यंत सारे नगर बाहेर आले.
