Aśvamedha-dīkṣā, Vyāsa’s horse-release, and Arjuna’s departure with Gāṇḍīva (आश्वमेधिक-दीक्षा तथा हय-उत्सर्गः)
सहदेवस्तु कौरव्य समाधास्यति बुद्धिमान । कुट॒म्बतन्त्रं विधिवत् सर्वमेव महायशा:,“कुरुनन्दन! महायशस्वी बुद्धिमान् सहदेव कुटुम्ब-पालनसम्बन्धी समस्त कार्योंकी देखभाल करेंगे”
sahadevas tu kauravya samādhāsyati buddhimān | kuṭumbatantraṃ vidhivat sarvam eva mahāyaśāḥ ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—हे कौरव्य! महायशस्वी व बुद्धिमान सहदेव विधिपूर्वक संपूर्ण कुटुंब-व्यवस्था व गृहकार्य नीटनेटके करून पाहील.
