Adhyāya 62: Marutta’s Treasure and the Pāṇḍavas’ Auspicious Departure (मरुत्तस्य धनप्राप्त्युपक्रमः)
इति श्रीमहाभारते आश्वमेधिके पर्वणि अनुगीतापर्वणि वासुदेवसान्त्वने द्विषष्टितमो5 ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate āśvamedhike parvaṇi anugītāparvaṇi vāsudeva-sāntvane dviṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
अशा प्रकारे श्रीमहाभारतातील अश्वमेधिक पर्वातील अनुगीता-पर्वात वासुदेवाच्या सान्त्वनपर उपदेशविषयक बासष्टावा अध्याय समाप्त झाला।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
This verse is a colophon marking the end of the chapter; it does not add new doctrine, but frames the preceding material as Vāsudeva’s sāntvana—ethical-spiritual consolation meant to steady the listener’s mind in dharma after turmoil.
