धर्मस्य सेतुं बध्नामि चलिते चलिते युगे । तास्ता योनी: प्रविश्याहं प्रजानां हितकाम्यया
dharmasya setuṁ badhnāmi calite calite yuge | tāstā yonīḥ praviśyāhaṁ prajānāṁ hitakāmyayā ||
युगोयुगी जेव्हा काळ डळमळीत होऊन परिवर्तनास लागतो, तेव्हा मी धर्माचा सेतू दृढ करतो। प्रजांच्या हितासाठी मी वारंवार नाना योन्यांत व रूपांत प्रवेश करतो, जेणेकरून धर्ममर्यादा पुन्हा स्थापन होईल आणि प्राणी अधर्माच्या प्रवाहात वाहून जाणार नाहीत।
