पृथ्वी पञ्चगुणा ज्ञेया चरस्थावरसंकुला । सर्वभूतकरी देवी शुभाशुभनिदर्शिनी
pṛthvī pañcaguṇā jñeyā carasthāvarasaṅkulā | sarvabhūtakārī devī śubhāśubhanidarśinī ||
वायू म्हणाला—पृथ्वी पाच गुणांनी युक्त आहे असे जाणावे. ती देवी चर-अचर प्राण्यांनी भरलेली, सर्व भूतांची जननी आणि शुभ-अशुभाचे निदर्शन करणारी आहे.
