तस्माद्‌ गुणांश्नव सत्त्वं च परित्यज्येह धर्मवित्‌ | क्षीणदोषो गुणातीत): क्षेत्रज्ञ प्रविशत्यथ

tasmād guṇān snava sattvaṃ ca parityajyeha dharmavit | kṣīṇadoṣo guṇātītaḥ kṣetrajñaṃ praviśaty atha ||

म्हणून या लोकात धर्म जाणणाऱ्या पुरुषाने गुणांवरील आसक्ती—आणि अगदी सत्त्व (बुद्धीची निर्मळता) सुद्धा—त्यागावी. दोष क्षीण झाल्यावर तो गुणातीत होऊन क्षेत्रज्ञाच्या शुद्ध स्वरूप परमात्म्यात प्रवेश करतो.

Liberation is described as transcending identification with all guṇas—even sattva—after one’s दोष (impurities) are exhausted; then one abides in/attains the pure Kṣetrajña, the Supreme Self.
