Book 14, Chapter 43
पार्थिवो यस्तु गन्धो वै घप्राणेन हि स गृहाते । प्राणस्थश्न तथा वायुर्गन्धज्ञाने विधीयते
pārthivo yastu gandho vai ghrāṇena hi sa gṛhyate | prāṇasthaś ca tathā vāyur gandhajñāne vidhīyate ||
वायुदेव म्हणाला—पृथ्वीचा ‘गंध’ हा गुण नासिकेद्वारे ग्रहण होतो. आणि घ्राणेंद्रियात स्थित प्राणवायू त्या गंधाचे ज्ञान घडविण्यासाठी नियुक्त आहे.
