मरुत्तोपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः — Genealogy to Marutta and the Logistics of Royal Sacrifice
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आश्वमेधिकपवके अन्तर्गत अश्वमेधपर्वमें संवर्त और मरुत्तका उपाख्यानविषयक तीसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ
prasandher abhavat putraḥ kṣupa ity abhiviśrutaḥ | kṣupasya putra ikṣvākur mahīpālo 'bhavat prabhuḥ ||
प्रसन्धीचा पुत्र ‘क्षुप’ या नावाने प्रसिद्ध झाला. क्षुपाचा पुत्र पराक्रमी महाराज इक्ष्वाकु पृथ्वीचा अधिपती झाला.
