अत्यागश्चाभिमानश्चव मोहो मन्युस्तथाक्षमा । मत्सरश्रैव भूतेषु तामसं वृत्तमिष्यते
atyāgaś cābhimānaś ca moho manyus tathākṣamā | matsaraś caiva bhūteṣu tāmasaṁ vṛttam iṣyate ||
वायुदेव म्हणाला—कृपणता (दान न देणे), अभिमान, मोह, क्रोध, असहिष्णुता आणि प्राण्यांविषयी मत्सर—असे आचरण तामस मानले जाते.
