अनार्जवमसंज्ञत्वं कर्म पापमचेतना । गुरुत्वं सन्नभावत्वमवशित्वमवाग्गति:
anārjavam asaṃjñatvaṃ karma pāpam acetanā | gurutvaṃ sannabhāvatvam avaśitvam avāggatiḥ ||
वायू म्हणाला—कुटिलता, असंज्ञता, अचेतनेतून उद्भवलेले पापकर्म, मनाचे गुरुत्व, बंधनकारक ‘सन्नभाव’ (अहंभावयुक्त अस्तित्वबोध), परवशता आणि अधोगती—ही धर्महानीची लक्षणे आहेत; ती जीवाला सत्पथापासून दूर ओढून नेतात.
