Adhyāya 34: Kṣetrajña-Lakṣaṇa and the Araṇi Metaphor
Mind–Intellect Allegory
सम्यगुपायो दृष्टश्न॒ भ्रमरैरिव लक्ष्यते । कर्मबुद्धिरबुद्धित्वाज्ज्ञानलिज्जैरिवाश्रितम्
samyag upāyo dṛṣṭaś ca bhramarair iva lakṣyate | karmabuddhir abuddhitvāj jñānalijjair ivāśritam ||
ब्राह्मण म्हणाला—त्या तत्त्वाच्या साक्षात्काराचा सम्यक उपाय दिसून आला आहे. ‘पाहण्याचा प्रयत्न’ ही क्रिया सोडली की ते आपोआप कळते—जसे भुंगे सुगंध ओळखतात. पण कर्माला चिकटलेली बुद्धी, प्रत्यक्षात अबुद्धि असल्याने, ज्ञानासारखी भासते; तरी ती ज्ञान नाही. म्हणून केवळ कर्माने तो साक्षात्कार होत नाही.
