brāhmaṇy uvāca | nedam alpātmanā śakyaṁ vedituṁ nākṛtātmanā | bahu cālpaṁ ca saṁkṣiptaṁ viplutaṁ ca mataṁ mama ||

ब्राह्मणी म्हणाली—नाथ! अल्प अंतर्बळ असलेल्या आणि असंयत अंतःकरणाच्या व्यक्तीस हे तत्त्व यथार्थपणे जाणणे शक्य नाही. आपण जे महान् ज्ञान संक्षेपाने सांगितले, ते मला कधी पुष्कळ तर कधी थोडे असे भासते; माझी समज विस्कळीत झाली आहे, स्थिर होत नाही.
