Kārtavīrya–Samudra Saṃvāda and the Jāmadagnya Precedent (आश्वमेधिक पर्व, अध्याय २९)
समुद्र उवाच महर्षिर्जमदग्निस्ते यदि राजन् परिश्रुत: । तस्य पुत्रस्तवातिथ्यं यथावत् कर्तुमहति,समुद्रने कहा--राजन्! यदि तुमने महर्षि जमदग्निका नाम सुना हो तो उन्हींके आश्रमपर चले जाओ। उनके पुत्र परशुरामजी तुम्हारा अच्छी तरह सत्कार कर सकते हैं
samudra uvāca: maharṣir jamadagnis te yadi rājan pariśrutaḥ | tasya putras tavātithyaṃ yathāvat kartum arhati ||
समुद्र म्हणाला—राजन्! जर तू महर्षी जमदग्नीचे नाव ऐकले असेल, तर त्यांच्या आश्रमास जा. त्यांचा पुत्र परशुराम तुझे यथोचित आतिथ्य-सत्कार करण्यास समर्थ व योग्य आहे.
