प्रत्यब्रुवं महाबाहो यथाश्रुतमरिंदम । शत्रुदमन महाबाहु माधव! उस ब्राह्मणके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर मैंने जैसा सुना था वैसा ही उसे बताया
pratyabruvaṃ mahābāho yathāśrutam ariṃdama | śatrudamana mahābāhu mādhava! |
हे महाबाहो, हे अरिंदम! मी जसे ऐकले होते तसेच प्रत्युत्तर दिले. हे माधव! त्या ब्राह्मणाने अशा प्रकारे विचारल्यावर मी त्याला यथाश्रुत—अविकृत—वृत्तांत सांगितला.
