Arjuna’s request to Krishna and the opening of the Kāśyapa–Brāhmaṇa mokṣa discourse (Āśvamedhika-parva 16)
वायुदेव उवाच श्रावितस्त्वं मया गुह्ूं ज्ञापितश्न॒ सनातनम् | धर्म स्वरूपिणं पार्थ सर्वलोकांश्व शाश्वतान्
vāyudeva uvāca | śrāvitastvaṁ mayā guhyaṁ jñāpitaś ca sanātanam | dharma-svarūpiṇaṁ pārtha sarva-lokāṁś ca śāśvatān |
वायुदेव म्हणाले—पार्था! पूर्वी मी तुला अत्यंत गुप्त उपदेश ऐकविला होता आणि धर्मस्वरूप सनातन परम तत्त्वाचे ज्ञान दिले होते; तसेच शाश्वत लोकांचेही वर्णन केले होते. पण तू आपल्या अविवेकामुळे तो उपदेश मनात धरला नाहीस—हे मला फारच अप्रिय आहे. आता त्या गोष्टींचे पूर्ण स्मरण होणे शक्य दिसत नाही.
