वैशमग्पायन उवाच कृतोदकं तु राजान धृतराष्ट्रं युधिष्ठिर: । पुरस्कृत्य महाबाहुरुत्तताराकुलेन्द्रियः

Transliteration

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: kṛtodakaṃ tu rājānaṃ dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | puraskṛtya mahābāhur uttatāra ākulendriyaḥ ||

Translation

वैशंपायन म्हणाले—हे जनमेजया! राजा धृतराष्ट्रांनी भीष्मासाठी जलांजली अर्पण केल्यावर, महाबाहु युधिष्ठिर त्यांना अग्रस्थानी ठेवून पाण्यातून बाहेर आले; त्या वेळी त्यांच्या इंद्रिया शोकाने व्याकुळ झाल्या होत्या.
