धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
ददृशे त॑ जन सर्व सर्वाश्व प्रकृतीस्तथा । तदनन्तर महाराज धुृतराष्ट्र अन्तःपुरसे बाहर निकले और वहाँ नगर तथा जनपदकी समस्त प्रजाके उपस्थित होनेका समाचार सुना
dadṛśe taṁ janaḥ sarvaḥ sarvāśva-prakṛtīs tathā | tadanantaraṁ mahārāja dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ antaḥpura-se bāhar nikale aura vahāṁ nagara tathā janapada-kī samasta prajā-ke upasthita hone-kā samācāra sunā |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—तेथे सर्व लोकसमुदाय तसेच राज्याच्या विविध व्यवस्था व साधनेही एकत्र दिसून आली. त्यानंतर, हे महाराज, धृतराष्ट्र अंतःपुरातून बाहेर आले आणि नगर व जनपदातील सर्व प्रजा जमली आहे अशी वार्ता त्यांनी ऐकली।
