Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
माल्यैर्गन्धैश्व विविधैरर्चयित्वा यथाविधि । कुल्यानि तेषां संयोज्य तदाचख्युर्महीपते:,जो लोग राजाकी आज्ञासे हरद्वारमें भेजे गये थे, वे उन तीनोंकी हड्डियोंको संचित करके वहाँसे फिर गंगाजीके तटपर गये। फिर भाँति-भाँतिकी मालाओं और चन्दनोंसे विधिपूर्वक उनकी पूजा की। पूजा करके उन सबको गंगाजीमें प्रवाहित कर दिया। इसके बाद हस्तिनापुरमें लौटकर उन्होंने यह सब समाचार राजाको कह सुनाया
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
mālyair gandhaiś ca vividhair arcayitvā yathāvidhi |
kulyāni teṣāṃ saṃyojya tadācakhyur mahīpateḥ ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—नानाविध माळा व सुगंध द्रव्यांनी विधिपूर्वक अर्चना करून, त्यांनी त्यांचे अस्थि-अवशेष एकत्र करून नीट मांडले आणि ती गोष्ट पृथ्वीपति राजाला कळविली.
