Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)
सा हाग्रेगच्छति तयोर्दम्पत्योर्हतपुत्रयो: । कर्षन्ती तौ ततस्ते तां दृष्टवा संन्यपतन् भुवि
sā hāgre gacchati tayor dampatyor hataputrayoḥ | karṣantī tau tatas te tāṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃnyapatan bhuvi ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—ती पुढे पुढे चालत होती आणि ज्यांचे पुत्र मारले गेले आहेत अशा पुत्रहीन राजदम्पतीला सोबत ओढीत आणत होती. तिला अशा रीतीने येताना पाहताच पांडव तत्क्षणी तिच्या चरणांशी भूमीवर पडले।
