छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
प्रहष्ट: सम्प्रचिक्षेप सा च प्रत्याजहार तान् । धनुषकी प्रत्यंचाकी टंकारध्वनि और बाणके छूटनेकी सनसनाहटसे जमदग्नि मुनि बहुत प्रसन्न होते थे। अतः वे बार-बार बाण चलाते और रेणुका उन्हें दूरसे उठा-उठाकर लाया करती थीं
praharṣaḥ sampracikṣepa sā ca pratyājahāra tān | dhanuṣkī pratyancākī ṭaṅkāra-dhvaniḥ bāṇa-muktasya ca sanasanāhaṭaḥ jamadagni-muniṃ bahu praharṣayati sma | ataḥ sa punaḥ punaḥ bāṇān amuñcat, reṇukā ca tān dūrataḥ utthāpya-utthāpya ānayatī sma |
तो अत्यंत हर्षित होऊन ते वारंवार बाण सोडीत आणि रेणुका ते दूरून उचलून पुन्हा आणीत असे. धनुष्याच्या प्रत्यंचेचा टंकार आणि सुटलेल्या बाणांची तीक्ष्ण सनसनाहट जमदग्नि मुनींना फारच प्रिय वाटे. म्हणून ते पुन्हा पुन्हा शर सोडीत, आणि रेणुका देखील वारंवार ते परत आणून सेवा करीत असे.
