नारद उवाच गृहज्ञानी बहि:शास्त्रं पठतां विस्वरं पदम्‌ । गरीयसो<5वजानातु यस्ते हरति पुष्करम्‌

Transliteration

nārada uvāca gṛhajñānī bahiḥśāstraṁ paṭhatāṁ visvaraṁ padam | garīyaso ’vajānātu yas te harati puṣkaram ||

Translation

नारद म्हणाला—ज्याने तुझे कमळ अपहरण केले, तो देहरूपी घरालाच आत्मा समजो; मर्यादा मोडून शास्त्र वाचो; स्वर न लावता पद उच्चारो आणि गुरूजनांचा अवमान करीत राहो—म्हणजे या पापफळांचा भागी होवो.
