धुन्धुमार उवाच अकृतज्ञस्तु मित्राणां शूद्रायां च प्रजायतु । एक: सम्पन्नमश्चातु यस्ते हरति पुष्करम्‌

Transliteration

dhundhumāra uvāca | akṛtajñas tu mitrāṇāṁ śūdrāyāṁ ca prajāyatu | ekaḥ sampannam aśnātu yaḥ te harati puṣkaram ||

Translation

धुन्धुमार म्हणाला—ज्याने तुझे कमळ चोरले, तो मित्रांच्या उपकाराचा कृतघ्न ठरो; शूद्र जातीच्या स्त्रीपासून संतती उत्पन्न करो; आणि संपन्न असूनही एकटाच रुचकर अन्न भक्षण करो।
