अनुशासनपर्व अध्याय ९३ — तपस्, सदोपवास, विघसाशन, अतिथिप्रियता
Austerity, regulated fasting, residual-eating, and hospitality
ये च पुण्येषु तीर्थेषु अभिषेककृतश्रमा: । मखेषु च समन्त्रेषु भवन्त्यवभूथप्लुता:
ye ca puṇyeṣu tīrtheṣu abhiṣekakṛtaśramāḥ | makheṣu ca samantrēṣu bhavanty avabhūthaplutāḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—आणि जे पुण्य तीर्थांमध्ये अभिषेक-स्नान करून श्रम करतात, तसेच जे मंत्रयुक्त यज्ञांमध्ये अवभृथ-स्नानाने शुद्ध होतात—तेही त्या पवित्र कर्मांचे शुद्धिकारक फळ प्राप्त करतात.
