नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
चन्द्रमा: प्रददौ मेषमादित्यो रुचिरां प्रभाम् गवां माता च गा देवी ददौ शतसहसत्रश:
candramāḥ pradadau meṣam ādityo rucirāṃ prabhām | gavāṃ mātā ca gā devī dadau śatasahasraśaḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—चंद्राने एक मेंढा दिला; आदित्याने मनोहर प्रभा प्रदान केली; आणि गायींची माता ती देवी—कामधेनू—हजारो-लाखो गायी दान करू लागली.
