अबुद्धिपतितेनाथ नादेन विपुलेन सा । वित्रस्तोदभ्रान्तनयना गंगा विख्बुतलोचना,उस आकस्मिक महान् सिंहनादसे भयभीत हुई गंगाजीकी आँखें घूमने लगीं और उनके नेत्रोंस आँसू बहने लगा
abuddhipatitena atha nādena vipulena sā | vitrastodbhrāntanayanā gaṅgā vikṣubdhalocanā ||
त्या आकस्मिक, प्रचंड सिंहनादाने गंगादेवी भयभीत झाली. तिचे डोळे घाबरून फिरू लागले, दृष्टि व्याकुळ झाली आणि नेत्रांतून अश्रू वाहू लागले।
